Dual-stage contacting

Reliable use of the system since 2006.

Metering points up to a grid of 1.0 (40 Mil) are reliably contacted on both sides.

In the first stage, the test fixture moves fully downwards and contacts all pins double-sided. In the second stage, the system moves a little backward. Thus only the desired contacts persist using long stroke pins. Contact problems, which may occur in a subsequent contacting of the second stage, are thereby eliminated.

•  No pins or PCB in a vacuum area.
•  No interferences due to short wiring paths.
•  The interchangeable kit system applies to all known test system manufacturers.

The motions are mechanical, carried out by pneumatic cylinders.
